6/19/10: In Jerusalem Rabbi Dalfin Celebrated
A Bat Mitzvah Party for 15 Girls

On June 6th at 11 AM we celebrated the bat mitzvah party for 15 girls. This included a tour to the tunnels adjacent to the Kotel . We had A beautiful and delicious lunch in a restaurant in a tunnel next to the Kotel. The use of the tunnel stretches back to the time of the Romans.  Each girl received earnings, a ring and a leather bound chumash with their name on it. Their mothers couldn’t stop thanking us for this unforgettable party . Thank you for bringing so much joy to all these youngsters of today who will be our leaders for tomorrow.

We are also helping young Jewish girls RETURN TO THEIR ROOTS. In the heart of Jerusalem just around the corner of the famous Ben Yehuda plaza there is a fantastic program for young Jewish girls who are searching for their Jewish heritage. Many times they have saved Jewish girls at risk who were involved with Arab men and drugs etc. For more than five years this program has provided a safe heaven and a warm home for hundreds of needy Jewish girls. It has also been successful in marrying over 90 of these girls who were in our program.

Rabbi Dalfin Brings Education to Russian Students

Rabbi Dalfin visits Migdal H’amek in Northern Israel. There is a special yeshiva program for Russian students who want to learn about their Jewish heritage. We continue to sponsor this program and are very proud of this vital work that all of you help me accomplish.

There are forty students enrolled in this Yeshiva program. The Rebbe cried for the Russian Jewry to be welcomed in our communities and to educate them with Torah.  This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference for future generations. Your support makes all this possible. Thank you very much.

Best Wishes,
Rabbi Favish Dalfin

Lag B'Omer Celebration - North Bay Village - 2010

A 1987 Photo of Rabbi Dalfin Lecturing at a Ramban Syium

This year we concluded the daily studying of the Rambam for the 28th cycle. This week my son Mendy organized a celebration in the Chabad Yesiva in Miami Beach Florida. As the saying goes the apple does not fall far from the tree.  Many times the Lebavitcher Rebbe urged world Jewry to engage in learning the laws of Rambam daily.

Best Wishes,

Rabbi Favish Dalfin
